The Nomads Bus - Panoramic views

Hi everyone,

As a mountain guide a big part of my job is to safely guide people up and down a mountain. Sometimes that means I might have to cancel a planned hike if the weather conditions are not allowing us to go up, for example when there is too much wind or when it's too cloudy to see where we are going. As you can imagine it is not always easy to make the right decision, especially when even the weather report is not really certain here up North because we are so close to the ocean.

For me, the whole weather thing is a big part why I like to be in the mountains. I like change and most of the time the views are more impressive when there are clouds.

These two pictures show how different the environment can look like. If I had to choose I like the first one better (obviously), but the second one was more unexpected. That one we went up and we literally only saw a couple of metres in front of us. Just when we reached the top the clouds changed and the view turned once more into one to never forget.

We are Val, Tim, Fenna and Lewis. We have been living on wheels for two years now in our converted American schoolbus turned into a hostel on wheels. Currently we are in Norway above the Artic Circle trying to find the best conditions for snow touring adventures!
