What is Milkyway?

If anyone wondered what is milky way. It is the galaxy that contains our solar system. The milky way is a barred spiral galaxy with a diameter between 100,000 and 180,000 light years. And it contains 100-400 billion stars. Or is it not? :P I haven't been there.

Anyways i love photographing Milkyway, season is somewhere from April to August when you can see it the most. And those are warm nights. It's really peaceful to be outside on such a beautiful night with clear sky watching at this amazing thing. You should try it one time !

Awesome image! Did you encounter any light pollution? I find this super challenging when trying to photograph the Milkyway in Germany.

Nope ! I try to get as far from light pollution as possible. Far away from cities :D Only problem for me is a bit low quality because of high ISO, i am using F3.5 kit lens. trying to save up for new lens now to have better quality when season starts !
