Background Info:
To get here, head north toward baker, the trailhead for Park Butte is what you're looking for. Hike up the mountain toward Park Butte Lookout but then continue up the Railroad Grade which head directly up the moutain. Hike Railroad Grade until you reach Mount Baker base camp. Say hi to the climbers as you pass them, find the highest of high points at high camp and park yourself.
With your hair messed up and your best grumpy face, set up your tent and eat some food..
Then, find some compositions you want to shoot when the Milky Way is up, plan your shots and get your tripods set for some long exposures/timelapses. Here is a quick 19s video I made of a couple different timelapses blended together, the one with all the clouds moving across the foreground is the timelapse I shot this night:
My buddy wrote some music a while back for my short film "Origin" and the music in this timelapse was one of his first experiments which I felt needed to be put to use.. :)
