This week I am honored to be a guest photo star on @photogames. I am so excited to work and compete with the great photographers!
Win 1 SBD from each Photo Game Star’s post! - Guess the Focal Length!
Rules for today's Metadata Monday game below.
ABOUT THE PHOTO
We had spent a night on Tengesdalsvatnet in Norway during our Scandinavian trip in 2016. I woke up early morning in hope to take some sunrise photos with the reflection in the lake. However, the sky was absolutely clear, so no flaming clouds reflected in the water. I decided to look around and climbed up the nearest mountain. Soon, then the sun started to come into the valley and enlightened the trees on the cliff nearby.
Hint. Usually, I publish my camera settings, so you can easily check my lenses and guess about the focal length. However, I've got a couple of lenses, I rarely use. Maybe it is the case. Or not ;)
RULES & HOW TO PLAY
Each of the guest Photo Stars will be sharing a photo to their blog. For Metadata Monday we would like you to guess the focal length of the photo. We are using the original stated focal length regardless of the type of camera or sensor size
- The closest guess will win the prize!
- Only one guess per person, per post.
- No editing your guess - you have to commit!
- All metadata has been stripped from the pictures, so don’t bother looking for the EXIF!
- We are not required to tell you what kind of camera was used, or what time of day the photo was taken at, or whether filters were involved (this adds to the mystery and the challenge!)
- For this game you have 2 days to guess (till Wednesday at 6PM EST / 11PM UTC)
- If only one person gets the correct (or closest) answer they will win the full prize pool
- If multiple people guess correctly (tie for 1st): 60% to first person / 40% divided between the next 5 people
