I just realized something, I have a cheap lens I used for parties or street shots (like parades, where lot's of beer/alcohol might be flowing) It's f3.5 - 6.3. 18-270mm.
What if it's not one of the fancy-schmancy lenses? What if it's f3.5? Didn't even go there....
