We're feeling nostalgic, the 2nd season of the @photogames are over, it has been a journey! We've meet so many people, we became SteemitFriends with local Photographer @GabyOraa, we've learned so much from them, we've play hard to get all those points but with the best vibes, we've been driving,traveling, swiming, flying, training, working... And alway trying to post while doing all of that just because one of the photostars is about to point the entries they got and we're -always- late, we even made it into the photostars creew the 4th week with some awesome photographers, @DerekKind, @ItchyfeetDonica, @r00sj3 and @ScottShots.
This is the post for the 5th week that is just a photostars game called PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE: Photo Star make-up game, the final episode of Season Two!.
We suppose to talk about:
1. PAST
Submit a picture that you have personally taken which represents the theme “OLD/PAST”
(You can go out and create a new picture or use one from any time in the past).
2. PRESENT
Take a new picture this week that represents the theme “NEW/PRESENT”
(Not one from your archives but one taken this week).
3. FUTURE
Create a blog post that talks about one of the following themes. (You are only expected to write about one theme, though you may talk about more if you desire).
- What do you see as the future of the Photogames?
- What do you see as the future of Steem/Steemit?
- What do you see as the future of the photography community on Steemit?
- What will help the future of Photogames? (i.e how can we make Photogames better)
Well, here we go...
Nos sentimos nostálgicos, la 2da temporada de los @photogames ha terminado, ¡ha sido todo un viaje! Hemos conocido a mucha gente, nos hicimos en "SteemitFriends" con la fotógrafa paisana @GabyOraa, aprendimos mucho, jugado duro para conseguir todos esos puntos pero con las mejores vibras, hemos estado conduciendo, viajando, nadando, volando, entrenando, trabajando... Y publicando a último momento uno de los photostars (jueces) está a punto concluir su juego y estamos -siempre- retrasados, incluso llegamos a ser las photostars de la cuarta semana junto con con algunos fotógrafos impresionantes, @DerekKind, @ItchyfeetDonica, @r00sj3 y @ScottShots.
Este es el post por la 5ta semana en el que se anuncia el juego para photostars llamado PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE: Photo Star make-up game, the final episode of Season Two!.
Se supone que tenemos que hablar:
1. PASADO
Envíe una foto que haya tomado personalmente y que represente el tema "VIEJO/PASADO".
(Puedes salir a tomar la foto o usar una de cualquier momento en el pasado).
2. PRESENTE
Tome una nueva foto esta semana que represente el tema "NUEVO/PRESENTE"
(No una de sus archivos, sino una tomada esta semana).
3. FUTURO
Cree una entrada de blog que hable sobre uno de los siguientes temas. (Sólo se espera que escribas sobre un tema, aunque puedes hablar de más si lo deseas).
- ¿Qué ves como el futuro de los photogames?
- ¿Cuál ve usted como el futuro de Steem/Steemit?
- ¿Cuál ves como el futuro de la comunidad fotográfica en Steemit?
- ¿Qué ayudará al futuro de los photogames? (es decir, cómo podemos mejorar los photogames)
Bueno, aquí vamos...
PAST
The ligth, an primmitive element as the existence itself. It's not about neantherdals discovering fire, it's about life, science says that everything started with a Big Bang, stars, planets, the cosmos. Then, just a couple bunch of years later, here we are, making the light our life. Talking as a photographer, the lighting is one of the most importat things to take care on photography but what about colors?, colors doesn't really exist, the colors we or our cameras receive are just the refelction of the sunlight in sorta materials that depending of it's molecular composition reflects some specters over others, that means that the objects are not the color we see them, they're actually ALL the colors on the light spectrum exepct the one we see, because the one we see, is the one color that bounces out from the object and then it's reflected to our eyes/cameras, pretty complicated, we had to google it many times, but read a bit a you'll get it. And then talking about light these days, the electricity, we're all pretty much always connected into a plug, when wireless started being popular we had to came back to that chair close to the wall just because we're always runing out of battery. Light these days also means many other things.
PASADO
La luz, un elemento primitivo como la existencia misma. No se trata de que los neantherdals descubran el fuego, se trata de la vida, la ciencia dice que todo comenzó con un Big Bang, las estrellas, los planetas, el cosmos. Luego, sólo un par de años después, aquí estamos, haciendo de la luz nuestra vida. Hablando como fotógrafo, la iluminación es una de las cosas más importantes a tener en cuenta en la fotografía, pero ¿qué pasa con los colores? los colores no existen realmente, los colores que recibimos nosotros o nuestras cámaras son sólo la refelección de la luz solar en materiales que dependiendo de su composición molecular reflejan algunos espectros sobre otros, lo que significa que los objetos no son el color que vemos, en realidad son TODOS los colores del espectro de luz excepto el que vemos, porque el que vemos, es el color que rebota en el objeto y luego se refleja en nuestros ojos/cámaras, bastante complicado, tuvimos que buscarlo en Google muchas veces, pero si lees un poco, lo obtendrás. Y hablando de la luz en estos días, la electricidad, siempre estamos conectados a un enchufe, cuando la tecnología inalámbrica empezó a ser popular tuvimos que volver a esa silla cerca de la pared sólo porque siempre nos estábamos quedando sin batería. La luz en estos días también significa muchas otras cosas.
PRESENT
In the days we're living there is still light everywhere, but sunlight and fire are not the first things that comes into out minds when we think in light. Let's talk for us, ligth for us is not just the opposite of darkness, they actually compliment each other. Everyday lighting could play a very important role in our life, our daily mood is fully affected by the wheather, if it's sunny a clear we could be very happy, but if'ts too shiny and hot we could be very upset, and when it's a cloudy day we could also be very happy because of the fresh air, but if it's too rainy and wet we could be very unhappy as well because, I mean, who likes thier feets cold and wet? No one!
What about the "modern" light? The electricity? A regular light bulb? A little LED? An incandescent bulb? What does those means to you? For us the first thing we imagine when we see a light bulb is an idea, the regular lightbulb is the graphic representation since the begining of the times of an idea popping out on top of anyones head. We've mention before that we're creating all day, sometimes we're talking about whatever theme and a wild light bulb jumps on top of our head, or sometimes we're just very quiet and silent and a suddenly we feel a little LED running around into our heads. Everything we do, everything we create, started with an idea, or with a light bulb jumping around.
PRESENTE
En los días que vivimos todavía hay luz por todas partes, pero la luz del sol y el fuego no son las primeras cosas que vienen a la mente cuando pensamos en luz. Hablemos por nosotros, la luz para nosotros no es lo opuesto a la oscuridad, en realidad se complementan entre sí. La iluminación de todos los días puede jugar un papel muy importante en nuestra vida, nuestro estado de ánimo diario se ve totalmente afectado por el tiempo, si es soleado un claro podríamos ser muy felices, pero si es demasiado brillante y caliente podríamos estar muy molestos, y cuando es un día nublado también podríamos ser muy felices debido al aire fresco, pero si es demasiado lluvioso y húmedo podríamos ser muy infelices también porque, quiero decir, ¿a quién le gustan sus pies fríos y húmedos? Nadie!
¿Y la luz "moderna"? ¿La electricidad? ¿Una bombilla normal? ¿Un pequeño LED? ¿Una bombilla incandescente? ¿Qué significa eso para ti? Para nosotros lo primero que imaginamos cuando vemos una bombilla es una idea, la bombilla normal es la representación gráfica desde el principio de los tiempos de una idea saliendo de la cabeza de alguien. Hemos mencionado antes que estamos creando todo el día, a veces estamos hablando de cualquier tema y una bombilla de luz salvaje salta sobre nuestra cabeza, o a veces estamos muy callados y silenciosos y de repente sentimos un pequeño LED corriendo alrededor de nuestras cabezas. Todo lo que hacemos, todo lo que creamos, comenzó con una idea, o con una bombilla saltando alrededor.
FUTURE
The future, the unknown, the suspense, what's up from now on?
There is million of things that we just can't control about the future just because we will never know what's up the next minute, untill the 60 seconds passes off. But, we're always trying to by planing stuffs that are actually in our hands to change or to do.
We're very glad that there wasn't words quantity limit for this post, those themes are so extense and intense that we coul make a whole new @photogames season from it. Even though, we'll try to make this last part sort quick and straight forward.
What do you see as the future of the Photogames?
- Many more seasons.
- Bigger SBD pool.
- Many more contestants.
What do you see as the future of Steem/Steemit?
- The new kind of social media.
- A new era of sharing information.
- More and more people not depending on their office jobs.
- More and more people doing what the truly love to do.
- More and more friends around the world that could open so many doors thru steemit.
- Good quality content from "unknown" or "normal" people that are making their way to the fame thru Steemit.
- Bringing down the "millennials" or "influencers" stupid concepts, bringing up to the stage the people that has some cool stuffs in their heads.
What do you see as the future of the photography community on Steemit?
- A consolidated community.
- That new and old photographers understand that other photographers are not enemies, and maybe not friends neither, but partners.
- More and more people using their own images to illustrate their posts. I know that it's a lot to ask, but come on, someone elses image is not that cool, even if it's totally free to use.
- We think that steemit needs more "tools" or options to share images. Maybe an improve on their "uploading" style? An integrated image manager on the posts? Or something more fancy like the Instagram Carousel maybe?
- There is still a lot to do on steemit about photography or images ingeneral.
What will help the future of Photogames? (i.e how can we make Photogames better)
- Multi-language posts is something that we've already been talking with the paisana @GabyOraa, it could be really cool and it would improve a lot the @photogames around the world.
- Winners post announcements, we know it's hard... But, some prestablished templates and maybe schedule some posts, it's actually not that hard, it just needs some previous organization.
- The winner posts announcements could be made out of the @photogames profile, it could help the SBD pool to grow up which means that more people might be interested.
FUTURO
El futuro, lo desconocido, el suspenso, ¿qué pasará a partir de ahora?
Hay millones de cosas que no podemos controlar sobre el futuro sólo porque nunca sabremos qué pasa en el próximo minuto, hasta que pasen los 60 segundos. Pero, siempre estamos tratando de hacerlo planeando cosas que en realidad están en nuestras manos para cambiar o hacer.
Estamos muy contentos de que no hubiera límite de cantidad de palabras para este post, esos temas son tan extensos e intensos que podríamos hacer una nueva temporada de @fotos a partir de ellos. Sin embargo, intentaremos que esta última parte sea rápida y sencilla.
¿Qué ves como el futuro de los videojuegos?
- Muchas más temporadas.
- Colecta de SBD más grande.
- Muchos más concursantes.
¿Qué ves como el futuro de Steem/Steemit?
- El nuevo tipo deredes sociales.
- Una nueva era de compartir información.
- Más y más gente que no depende de sus trabajos de oficina.
- Más y más gente haciendo lo que realmente les gusta hacer.
- Más y más amigos alrededor del mundo podrían abrir mas puertas a través e Steemit.
- Contenido de calidad de personas "desconocidas" o "normales" que están haciendo su *camino a la fama * a través de Steemit.
- Derribar los conceptos estúpidos de "millennials" o "influencers", poniendo en escena a la gente que si tiene cosas geniales en la cabeza.
¿Qué ves como el futuro de la comunidad fotográfica en Steemit?
- Una comunidad consolidada.
- Que los fotógrafos nuevos y viejos entiendan que los otros fotógrafos no son enemigos, y tal vez tampoco amigos, pero si compañeros.
- Que cada vez más gente use sus propias imágenes para ilustrar sus publicaciones. Quizás es mucho pedir, pero vamos, la imagen de alguien más no es tan buena, aunque sea totalmente gratis.
- Creemos que steemit necesita más "herramientas" u opciones para compartir imágenes. ¿Quizás una mejora en su estilo de "subir"? ¿Un gestor de imágenes integrado en los post? ¿O algo más ibnteresante como el carrusel Instagram?
- Todavía queda mucho por hacer en cuanto a la fotografía o a las imágenes en general.
¿Qué ayudará al futuro de los videojuegos? (i.e. cómo podemos mejorar los juegos fotográficos)
- Publicar en varios idiomas es algo que ya hemos estado hablando con la paisana @GabyOraa, podría ser realmente genial y mejoraría mucho los @photogames en todo el mundo.
- Los anuncios de ganadores, sabemos que es difícil... Pero, algunas plantillas preestablecidas, y se podrían programar algunos posts, nada de eso es tan difícil, sólo necesita un poco de organización previa.
- Los anuncios de ganadores se pueden hacer a partir del perfil de @photogames, esto puede ayudar a que la aumente la colecta de SBD para los premios, lo que significa que más gente podría estar interesada en participar.
