ABOUT THE PHOTO

Wel,l I could not decide on 1 photo so I went out for you and provided an all-around view from the center of my city. You can use all the photos or just a few. The idea is that you can pick your own framing, your own subject and have fun. As always what I am looking for is creativity paired with A-game editing and considering how much material you have I hope there will not be 2 similar photos but that's up to you.

HOW TO PLAY

  1. Download the RAW file or the FULL SIZE JPG from this link
  2. Edit the picture
  3. Post your version in the comments
  4. Remember that you’re appealing to the PhotoStar who posted the photo
    THEN...
(They may choose even more than one to show off or award, it is up to them)
  5. Deadline is Sunday at 12 PM EST / 11PM UTC
  6. Only one entry per person, per post

POINTS

Top 8 edits get points
9 | 5 | 4 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2
(1st, 2nd, 3rd with 5 honorable mentions)

If a photostar doesn’t have 8 pictures they like they may be allowed to add 2 bonus points to other pictures in their Top 3)

MAX POINTS TO BE WON = 36
(This means you can only win 4 of the edits but you may edit all 6 if you feel so inclined)

Ten more things to go!

All of my EDITS HERE

You got me a couple hours of work with this one. But it was fun!04April-1270-0.jpg

I have always liked this effect, but most of the time see it done on skyscraper like cityscapes, so this was a great opportunity to play around with it. What a cute city square!

(If I didn't loose count these are all your pics except for the floor and sky detail shots.)

please make the photo clicable

Hey! I’m not able to do so from the phone right now, but I assume you want to see a full-screen? If you right click and open in new tab it will give you the full size image. (At least that’s how I do it.)

I btw purposely used your unaltered/uncropped/unedited pictures, just did an overall very basic contrast edit after the 'collage' was done.

I contemplated a full panorama, but figured so would everyone else, so I decided to stick to one small scene :) I hope you like it.

This colors remind me of kodak filmphotos from my childhood. Did you got them by hand?

I know, I saw the image and it looked like it needed to have that warm 'Kodak' film colour to it. Yeah, I've created a preset for it :)

The fact that you filpped the photo had me stunned for a few seconds.

Stunned is good, I think :) This was one of the few opportunities that I got to turn something into a tiny planet. (my guilty pleasure 😀) Didn't want to do the "standard" panorama edit.

I decided to come up with a traditional panorama. But there were lots of colors and I found that black and white allows to compose everything together way better.
