Avanos Hair Museum.
The museum was opened in 1979 when a local potter, Chez Galip, had to part with his girlfriend.
Chez then asks her female friend to bring a souvenir so she can remember it and the woman gives her some strands of her hair.
Then a few strands of hair that Chez put on the wall of the store and tell the story to some visitors who come to the museum.
Hearing the story, many women were sad that they left some of their hair for her too.
Currently, this museum has more than 16,000 strands of female hair.
