I was gassing up the mower when I looked up and was somewhat startled seeing such a big object in the sky.
Then realized it was the GoodYear blimp.
For a minute I thought maybe something was wrong, I have never seen it fly so low right over my house but it majestically sailed on by.
I am feeeling the pain today from the weekend.
Moving a 4 by 6 piece of limestone almost 6 inches thick by myself was a daunting task. A 30 foot chain and a lot of leverage was the key. The company that built my deck said the 6 man team had a hard time moving it, so doing it by myself was certainly a challenge that I couldn't resist.
Next was moving a 6 man hot tub a friend gave me. It was becoming an eyesore and a mosquito breeding ground due to never putting anything but rainwater in it. Since it was a hexagon, once I flipped it on its side using the jeep, it rolled fairly easy on the trailer. It is now back in the trees resting peacefully, but finally out of site.
We have been having some morning fog which made my trip into work on friday an interesting view. Driving towards the east, the sun lit up like a big ball casting an orange glow instead of its normal blinded by light appearance which I thought made an excellant photo opportunity.
A new day and a new week, I hope everyone has a great one!
Abow out..
Holy cow, i didn't know blimps still Existed!

Yep, I think they just kept a few around for sporting events. Kind of takes you by surprise seeing something that big in the sky.
