Back in nature

It took some time to write a new post, as i was sick for nearly 10 days. Today was the first day that i got out in the nature.

My plan was to walk to the highest point of my hometown Mountain called Konjiška Gora. We had nice weather and i felt much better so i went on a 4 hour long trekking tour.

On top of the Mountain is a big outlook tower at 1012m. From there you can see the whole Pohorje mountains,Kamniško Savinjske Alps and the Celje basin.

This mountains are one of the last in eastern Slovenia. Here starts the Dravinja valley which goes around 30km to the east where the Dravinja river clash with the bigger Drava river which flows to Croatia.

This area is actually one of the poorest and undeveloped areas of Slovenia, for centuries the only source of income was home made Alcohol (Wine,Schnaps) and in ancient time a trade route.

As i you know from my previous posts, we have a castle on the mountain which is always a great photo motiv.

From the outlook tower i captured the manmade lake Šmartinsko jezero

I love how the sun reflects in the lake

The beginning of the Dravinja Valley

The old Castle of Lindek, which is totally destroyed

I feel so much better now as i sweat all my sickness out. I am also happy that i captured some nice moments and spoke with some nice people in the forest. As its always nice to find interesting people in the nature. When i walk in this forest i feel so calm and it makes me focus on the important things in life. The best cure is always nature!

Stay tuned for more photos and stories as i feel good now!

Some music for the end, which i discovered on my hike.

Good photos...

thanks!

Beautiful colours. Great photos.

Thank you, i was lucky to be there at golden hour. 🙂

Very nice! What drone do you use? :)

I use a Mavic Pro with an ND Filter. Some photos were taken with the sonyA6000.

I have the Mavic Pro myself, also got the ND filters, but I'm too big of a noob to figure out which one to use when:p I might get a hang of it some day:)

Incredible views! Nice color contrasts!

Thanks, was a great golden hour :)
