Actually despite breaking all the rules this works maybe because of it. You cut the head off which is probably the most obvious rule to break. You also placed the subject dead centre. Yet it has something that keeps drawing my eye to it. Your use of unconventional techniques has created something that is both familiar and abstract.

No colour - doesn't grab me by the balls at all - nice camera though. ADVICE: Go buy any book on photography and read it. A hard, but fair comment ;)
