We thought that the iconic Omar Ali Saifuddien mosque was immensely peaceful, even if we couldn't go inside on the day we visited 🕌

The ceremonial stone boat sitting in the lagoon is a replica of a 16th-century mahligai (royal barge) where Quran-reading competitions were once held ⛵
