Luminous.
Red Autumn Leaves.
Hidden in the Shadows:
Voluptuous pink camellias.
Heaven's pride and joy. Pure white Roses.
Love is in the Air. Earth receives this Touch of Lightness.

Today's 'Color Challenge for Steemians' as presented by @kalemandra is Monday Red.

And 'You See ~ I See' as presented by @marillaanne is the perfect format for me to be able to share this autumn ephemeral art work with you.

You See:

  • A random arrangement of roses and camellias.

  • A scattering of red ivy leaves and berries. Stones and crystals.

I See:

  • Underlying the appearance of randomness in nature, lie fundamental structures of order.

  • What appears to be a random arrangement in the image above has an underpinning structure of an 11:11.

  • Four columns made from stones and crystals. Roses and Camellias.

I See:

  • As if 'falling' into the spaces. But carefully placed between and around the four columns: Red autumn leaves and berries.

I See:

  • The addition of some small white roses.

When you realize you’ve wandered off again,
Simply very lightly acknowledge that.

I See:

  • Late afternoon shadows. Blinds open wide but still low light in studio.

  • Spiraling universes within a beautiful rose.

  • So much beauty still to be captured.

  • One grainy last image.

This light touch is the golden key to:
Reuniting with our openness.

This Touch of Lightness:

When you look at these images, what do you see now?

  • A growing curiosity about the 11:11 and other double numbers?

  • Perhaps a yearning to connect more deeply with nature and her fundamental laws?

ABOUT: You See ~ I See.

'You See ~ I See' isn't a contest. However it will 'challenge' your perception.

Entering into this activity in all likelihood will transform what you may have felt was 'ordinary' in your own environment into something that becomes fresh and alive once again.

If you resonate with the concept, share one of your own 'You See ~ I See' posts with the tag #useeisee. All the details can be found in Marilla's latest post:

The Description and Story of "You See, I See" and how it became #useeisee

MY: 'You See ~ I See' posts.

  • It's time for all my 'You See ~ I See' posts, to be brought together as one separate post.

About my Ephemeral Art Work.

Relatively small assemblages or arrangements are built from flowers, weeds and plants, stones and crystals, combined with other natural materials that I find in the local bushland or surrounding urban streets.

During the creation of these pieces ~ The process is incredibly magical. Thoughts of anything else are silenced.

Sometimes hundreds of photographs are taken at the different stages of any arrangement. Sometimes a song or quote or other ideas/thoughts/words come to me, as I look at the resulting images. Giving form to new expressions ~ Short 'poems' to accompany the images.

A fuller description is in my introductory article: The Heart of Immortality.
