I don't think I was there with him that day and don't really know the story.
So.. I don't have a lot else to say about this one other than I think it's pretty cool!
It was taken in Sedona Arizona on a 35mm rebel I think.. And.. I'm not sure what that mountain range is called.
I wish another comet would show up so I could get some shots like this! Heh.

Your father took a splendid capture! It's always one of a kind moment when you see a comet, and seeing it in such a great place is just invaluable! I once saw a comet during my meditation trip to Doi Suthep Temple( I wrote a big article about it 6 days ago, an unbelievable place with strong spiritual energy). So among my daily rituals was meditating on the temples view point, around 1700m high every day before sleep at 8:30. So that's when I saw a bright object with fiery tail, probably a big comet, I was overexcited! Thanks for sharing, mate! Cheers and have a great Sunday!
