It is quite beautiful. I don't see why anyone would ever want to leave, but I've not been there, I don't know what it's really like. I don't think I'd fit in well there, which is unfortunate because I'd love to visit once in my life. To see it, breathe it in, hearing the sounds, feel the sun on my face there, to experience it with all my own senses. Pictures and stories can only do so much. Definitely a rich history. I imagine architecture there is something quite special as well, but the chances of me ever visiting are slimmer than a beard hair.

I'm from the great state of Texas in the good old United States...honestly I don't know why I said that, every place I've been on the planet shares something with another place. Everywhere I've been I see similar features, some small and some large. The people is what makes the place special. Lately it seems people have become more interested in harming one another than learning about each other's culture, family, and history. It's very sad to me. I'm not anyone special, in the grand scheme of things, but I do care. Maybe more than most. Texas has ocean, desert, swamp, plains, rolling hills and mountains. A bit of everything, yet I still haven't seen it all. I've seen more of the world on television than I have with my own eyes and that's an awful shame. I used to travel more, but here lately I haven't done as much traveling. Health reasons and all, it gave me a unique perspective on life.

I do very little social media, but I have a twitter account. Xmaassr is my handle. If you ask for an invite I'll bring you in, but for now my account is locked against people just adding me for higher numbers. My reasoning on that is I prefer to know good and decent people on there. To enjoy good conversation and heartfelt responses. I'm all heart and mine has been broken too many times through careless chatter by people I've never met, so I keep it to a minimum on who I invite in to chat. Even then, though, I'm not on there often. I went from daily to every other day to once a week. Spending more time with family lately. Here, at least I can get paid something for my stories and conversations, life experiences. Although I have yet to take any money out of my account on here, still I enjoy attempting to earn a little something on the side.
