Hello guys!!! It's Artcher and today I'm going to tell you some interesting facts about a Cougar!!!

The cougar is a large cat of the subfamily Felinae. Native to the Americas, its range spans from the Canadian Yukon to the southern Andes in South America and is the most widespread of any large wild terrestrial mammal in the Western Hemisphere.

Height: 60 – 90 cm (Adult, At Shoulder)

Speed: 80 km/h (Maximum, Running, Sprint)

Lifespan: 8 – 13 years (In the wild)

Conservation status: Least Concern (Population decreasing) Encyclopedia of Life

Scientific name: Puma concolor

Mass: Male: 53 – 100 kg (Adult), Female: 29 – 64 kg (Adult)
