Shot of the Day - Golden Hour Flag

in photography •  7 years ago

It was "Golden Hour" on Dorcus Bay. LOL!! I love that name....my great-grandmother's name was Dorcus. While researching our genealogy I found her death record and was sure it was a misprint. Nope.

So..back to this photo. We were staying at my MIL's near Tobermorey when I took this shot. There was a cool breeze blowing off Lake Huron that felt like heaven after a hot day. Yes...the flag is ragged. You would not believe the winds that blow up there. Flags don't last very long.

Can you tell I'm looking forward to summer?

Until next time friends...

Hahahaha, flags do not last very long :) Hope you and the flags get your summer soon 💚💚💚

"cool breeze"

I laughed at the breeze bit... usually a weee bit stronger than a breeze!

Trust you! I was wondering if someone would catch that!

Great shot!! Tobermory is my favourite Ontario spot!! Good to see an Ontarian here like myself~~
