Hello everyone's !!!
The photo that you see in this post is one of the beehives that have just been made by the bee itself around 1 week.
When talking about the nest there is something very amazing about the design designed by them, thus making the world's scientists interested in researching it. So there is a great variety of results that have been found in the manufacturing process and all the forms and durability found in the nest.
In one of the results of the study said that when making a hive, bees will wake it up with waxy liquid produced by glands in the lower part of their stomachs, of course the liquid is sourced from the extracts of flower starch in suction, so it is processed through their limbs. When we searched it turned out that the design was amazing. Honeycomb is considered a miracle in the field of building engineering which almost resembles a building part or a man's house that is boxy.
The nests that you see in this post for the Acehnese say as eumpung eunoe or in other languages referred to as beehives.
This nest is only 1 week old with the size of an adult human fist.
While the workers are 5 worker bees. But the question is when the hive becomes large, the population of bees that occupy the hive will be more and more. However, in this post it is not explained about their mechanism but what will be discussed about the material, time, and size that should be done by them.
🐝 The time limit for making the nest
In this case the writer himself often observes his nest making activities because by coincidence in the last few years the wasp nest is often behind our house, so freely to observe their activities.
In our observations the nest will stop making when the size has reached a maximum or an area of about 1 square meter with a round shape extending downward. While the manufacturing time takes 1 month and sometimes more than a few days.
As explained above, when the hive reaches one month, the bee or other Unoe will arrive at the hive. Then when the life of a bee occurs from all the activities of storing honey or breeding immediately carried out and civilization has begun.
🐝 Material for making nests
Typically each bee or Unoe species differs in its design and the material used is also slightly different, whereas the bee takes its basic ingredients from clay and is mixed with liquid under its stomach so that the soil is sticky and sturdy and will be very easy in accordance with their wishes in designing it. However, the resulting shape is almost the same.
As an example of the nest contained in the picture, the shape is the same as the previous nest, meaning that every design in the form must be neatly arranged and sturdy in its manufacture.
The robustness of a beehive can be said to be very strong despite being exposed to water or wind, but the hive remains in its initial location and is not destroyed and or fallen, and any bee or Unoe in it will be very safe in working and multiplying offspring.
Will be continued on the next post ....
