Melastoma Malabathricum Flower

Hi friends.Welcome to my photography blog.I want to share some photos of a beautiful flower in this blog.Name of this flower is Melastoma malabathricum.It is a wild flowering plant species native to Southeast Asia.It belongs to the Melastomataceae family and is commonly known as the Indian rhododendron.The plant of the flower grows up to 2-3 meters tall and has shiny,dark green leaves.Its flowers are pink or purple and can grow up to 5 cm in diameter.The flower five petals and arranged in clusters.Such a beautiful flower it is.
