Plants waiting for the spring in the basement.

in photography •  7 years ago

My dad is a huge flowers lover, sadly we have a winter so he has to take care of them with the first frost and snowfall. So he puts all the plants in the basement until the spring and constructed some artificial light for them to survive.

Actually i was telling he was wasting a perfectly good lamp and electricity on the wrong kind of plants, but sadly he would not listen :)

Nice post

Haha i dont think the light is good to grow weed.. but nice photos :)

I thought it is good enough lol

Not a waste at all! Tell him his plants are beautiful :)

He told me to tell you "Big thanks" :) And invited you to see them in spring! :)

nice yaar, he is really cute. Great job he is doing.

I'll tell him that, thanks :)

Very nice. Good for him. I tried this as well but didn't have very good success at keeping the the tiny aphid bugs away.

Oh, he's got skills, if you need an advice i can ask him for you :)

Having a Great dad, you're so lucky @bescouted

I am blessed :)

These are some really great low key photos. There is almost a whimsical nature to them. I think the lights being so "white" gives it a somewhat unearthly feeling.

Cheers,

Thanks mate :) I loved this light too, that is why i have decided to share it with you, since the object is not very glamorous, though have sentimental value since it is my dad's :)

lol... while I was looking at the first photo full size, I thought exactly what I saw a moment later written under it :-)

Hah hah, some people said those lamps are not suitable for what we both thought :)

Oh, it's cool! You need to buy a dad gift for Christmas LEDs of blue and red spectrum.

This light is much more efficiently consumed by plants and requires less energy costs. Special lamps are sold, but you can buy a strips and assemble yourself - It's much cheaper

Is it really? This a nice tip as i was banging my head to the wall thinking what to buy him for Christmas! Hope can find it somewhere. Thanks dear!
