I’m overall very pleased with how the fish pond turned out. All he work I had done to prevent further erosion of the Knickpoint has seemingly worked for now. And the surrounding environment has absorbed the pit into the fauna to give a totally natural feel to the scene. Besides the pvc pipe of course..
Fish love their new home too, wondering if they will be able to survive the Winter months or if I’ll have to “replace” them next Spring. Either way, they add to the already immensely natural feel of the area.
Crazy to think not but a year ago there was nothing here but a flat drainage delta from the pool... also helps keeps other things less wet.. like by diverting the massive runoff away from the wood pile.
