Memories, Black Sea Trips

in photography •  6 days ago

In my experience, it takes about a week to have the proper time to explore separately the Northern and the Southern shores of Black Sea in Bulgaria.

I've done that a few times and I hope I have that chance again.

Cape Emine is the tip of Stara Planina mountain that divides Northern from Southern Bulgaria, just FYI ;)

And if you ask me, the small the "company" I am traveling with, the better chances I have to capture great pictures, such that I like...

Pictures taken near Tyulenovo village, "The Needle" rock formation.

the small the "company"

There was a time when I refused to travel with a group of photographers or just a group, because it was clear that not only would I not take good pictures, but I would not enjoy the trip, I would not be able to feel it, it would be in vain. I have said many times that a place is only felt without people around. And so it happened the last time I traveled with other people, this trip was a complete disaster, so now I know for sure that the company must be small😂
By the way, I'm not sure one week is enough. If one decided to travel that distance (by car, of course, I don't think public transport is arranged in these places at all, as found out from my other experiences recently), just to travel from start to finish, yes, but to go in and explore, to walk around, to spend the night... most of all, to feel the place, the places... I don't know much it will be needed.

Size-related, agreed! :)

One week for the Northern or Southern part alone. So if the whole shore has to be "covered", two weeks as a minimum, OK? :)

Two weeks sounds more realistic and doable, really. I can already agree here.👌
