Cascades Photography | Capturing the Current

Not every photo I take is commissioned.
Sometimes, I make pictures just for me.
In the early days of my photographic adventures, I used to carry my camera with me everywhere. On one particularly lovely, late summer day, Gary and I were driving in the country. I spotted on the side of the road a cluster of mushrooms the size of dinner plates. They were curled upwards, and most were still holding a good deal of rainwater from the night before. Patient as always, Gary waited while I crawled around in the damp grass, photographing these amazing mushrooms from every angle. This one was my absolute favorite.
