Dear friends,
I've experimented a bit with Gimp.
As always it is so beautiful, sometimes less is more.
I desaturated the pictures and only one highlight in the photo is colored.
This technique is called Color Key ... I like this kind of photos especially because they highlight the essentials in the picture.

Wie heißt es doch immer so schön, manchmal ist weniger mehr.
Ich habe die Bilder entsättigt und nur ein Highlight im Foto ist farbig.
Diese Technik heisst Color Key...Diese Art von Fotos gefallen mir besonders sehr,
denn sie heben das wesentliche im Bild hervor.

I'm a bit iffy about using selective color, but I think the way you've done it hear with these beautiful bird pics is perfect ! The river one is cool as well.
