El quisco es un gran cactus columnar endémico de la zona central de Chile. En su zona de distribución destaca siendo el cactus de mayor tamaño, llegando a los 7 metros de alto, tanto en las laderas de exposición norte en los cerros, como en la costa, en acantilados costeros, estas fotos fueron tomadas en el litoral central de Chile.
