Luckily one of those things is watching a thrilling game of football, Soccer to those of you from the U.S, who see fit to call your own sport of hand-egg, football, despite the lack of kicking and that you don't use a ball......... Anyway before this becomes yet another anti-USA tirade, let me tell you about pic of the week 002.
Football is one of my passions, I can't get enough of it. It's a great day/evening out with friends. I'm also a founder of a great little football agency called M606 sports, but I'll save that for another post.
Luton, is a large town in England, generally referred to one of the country's crappest towns. It's where I studied for my degree in Computer Science and where a lot of my good friends still live. The local football team is a cornerstone of the community and well loved by the natives (Lutonians).
On the 10th of August, Luton played against Aston Villa, who are a much bigger club, who have quite a few international players in their team. It was a big occasion for such a small club like Luton town and the atmosphere was rocking.

The thing I love about this image is the simplicity. Every Englishman will know the feeling of tucking into a lovely warm pie. Also the bottle of Coca-cola, which would of been a pint of beer in years gone by, is a testament to the new family atmosphere generated at these matches now. The price of the tickets is a bit of a kick in the teeth, taking a typical family of four will now cost well over £100 now (0.2254BTC).
Luton won the match, so are through to the next round, where they will face Leeds Utd (Another huge club). I will definitely be going to that game also. The main find of the night had to be the debut of Luton Town youngster James Justin, who I'd seen play for the u18's before but didnt stand out in a very good Luton youth team. Justin is definitely one to watch for the future based on his performance that night.
