Seabirds at Faraid Head

Seeing puffins was my dream for quite a while. Being able to photograph and film them, added a whole new level to the pleasure of birdwatching.

My video camera has a good zoom. I couldn't get quite as close with my photo camera, but few pictures are still worth sharing.

In addition to puffins guarding their burrows, we also saw herring gull with a chick.

My another favourite sea birds, razorbills, were also present.

We had to get quite low down, towards the edge of the cliff, to see the puffins.

We went as far as we thought was save. I found especially challenging zooming out with my video camera. I was getting very dizzy doing that for some reason.

It was awesome to capture these birds, even if I had to take some deep breaths to do that. :D

Good morning!

It was an awesome experience to see them and I am glad to share the joy! :)

So glad I'm following you and I got to see this! You are probably the only person I know that has seen them live ☺️

If you get to know me, then you'll know 2! Also @janiceduke was there with us, so you can make it 3! ;)

Just followed her! Haha now I know 2 of you!

Peace profound to you friend🌱

Seeing puffins is still my dream :)

There are quite a few coastal locations around Britain where you can see them but you have to be prepared to get to a remote location. :)

First I would have to fly to UK... then hunt them down.
When I get somewhere close I will make sure to I see them :)

Nice photo of yourself and @janiceduke at the end there. I wonder who took that one... ;)

It was an amazing experience being there. Definitely the highlight of our trip.
