Almost like a science fiction scene from a futuristic movie where pollution is out of control and we all have to wear masks. Only it's the reality in many cities in China. This photo was taken of the cityskape in Shanghai by the Bund.
The Chinese government is making big efforts to curb the pollution and it is now slowly improving. But switching from being a producing economy to becoming a service high technology focused economy is no easy task. Especially not when you have the biggest population on the planet. I have seen amazing changes take place here and I am sure that soon the environment will change as well.

I have seen a movie about bees and China had areas were human needed to pollinate the flowers. Scary stuff but as you answered in another comment, everyone wants cheap stuff but not the enviromental costs which come with it.

Yea this is pretty much the reason why I want to go home. The industrial impact on China will be felt for a long time.
That's crazy about the bees, and really scary. The eco system is very sensitive, one thing is dependent on the other and if even one component is unbalanced it can have a huge impact

Yes something had to be Done. But everyone has a responsibility because most of the products made in China are for foreign countries. They don't want the pollution so they put production in China. Everyone has to help
