It took I while to think if I really wanted to post something this personal, but at the end some words came to my mind and here they are.
My mom took this picture of me in a wine tour in Tuscany. I made her took this picture at least three times because I found myself hideous in every one of them. But she was so tired of taking this picture again and again and listening me saying that I was no pretty, that at the end I accepted this photo. And then I realized that I was tired too of being uncomfortable in my own body. Tired of not accepting that this is the only body I have to live in. Tired of wanting my body to change because of my short legs or my face.
Since then, all I want is to apologize to myself, because all these years of contempt and finally love myself.
