To Make Locations More Amazing I Do Handstands - My Collection To Inspire You To Explore

in photography •  8 years ago

Here are a selection of handstands I've done in my life to compliment natures fine work.

Most of the time I fall down afterwards.

Taken in various countries over the last few years (mostly Australia).

In looking over them it seems I wear a lot of the same clothes from time to time. Such is life.

Also, since I am in these photos it was my friends and random people that clicked the button for me. But all the setup and composition was done by myself. Thank you to those who clicked my camera for me.

Finally, my poor poor hands.

Enjoy :)

I love how you've taken the idea of doing "selfies" and made them about so much more than you--be it these landscape selfies or the ones you've set up with animals. Your pure spirit and love of nature shine through in your work @daxon.

Thanks @florentina, I need to stop doing posts about me me me, Shine light on what I have learned to help and give value to others. Still finding my ways

But you have been giving value!

Well done, daxon!

A fantastic and elegant idea of pulling the focus of the viewer to the special picture. Sometimes an awesome picture isn't enough...

Thanks @pery! Yes it disrupts the landscape in a nicer way.

wow, good kung fu, Bruce Lee , ha ha :)

No landscapes were hurt in the making of these photos.

It turns out I also do random handstands out in nature! This was me 2 years ago in Glacier National Park in Canada! brian-handstand4cb4a.jpg

Crouching tiger, hidden steemit!

I must do a post in all my social channels about Steemit

These pictures are great: brilliant skills and composition.

You've been to some beautiful places! :)

Yes, but the story behind each one involves a lot of hiking and sweat :)

I feel so much Freedom in that pics, you conect with the earth, you enjoy what, we, humankind, can't remember anymore. This is life! Well done bro

Thanks, I wish everyone would re-connect with the earth more.

So simple yet so powerful. Doesn't hurt these are some incredible shots.

I've always wanted to make it to Australia! Going to be one of my next trips.

Keep doing those handstands. :)

Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it's a whole new world down here. Opening your mind even more.

Queenstown and Ice Hotel are my favourites!
But they are all great. I just loved your simple idea.
good luck with your mission to handstand everywhere!

Thanks, now to continue it for life. It will keep me fit

sure it will! Warn me when you come handstand at portugal :)

You've hit these pics! I like it:)
How about handstand selfie? Is that possible?:)

I might land on top of the animal :/

Way to put your own personal stamp on some pretty awesome locations. Can you be followed elsewhere, is there more of your work?

Thank you, yes not to keen on static landscapes, try to be different and unique. Add some spice to the mix.
I'm @daxon on Instagram for more :)

Very nice, original work!!

haha! very funny and cool picture!
To be honest, I really envy you, you travel all over the planet. I also want to, but never can.

Why can you never travel?

It's simple! I have no money 😁

Wow these are all amazing. This is so unique and gives every photo your trademark. Do you use a timer or does someone else take the photo?

Some were taken on a timer, others by friends or passers by at the time. Taken over a 3 year span now

OK cool.

This is really cool. Reminded me of the Where the Hell is Matt video series, such as this one (altho he was doing silly dance instead of handstand):

awesome this is so beautiful

It is too beautiful for words! You DO Inspire me! )

Beautiful landscapes, and such a personal touch :)

I'm moving from Norway to Australia now, and this makes me look even more forward too it!

You are truly one of a kind and soooooo awesome!!!
Amazing pics by the way!!!
