Hello Steemers,
took these shots using a sony a3000 camera at my visit to slavers bay
i hope you will like it and dont forget to start droping comments.
1.Somewhere in Lagos,Badagry,Slavers bay Nigeria.
This picture comes with a lot of emotions attached to it.it shows how slavery was openly legal and recognized.imagine selling off 80 slaves for a mini cannon (Brutal) these guys were kept by the hundreds and thousands in cages and were packged like caned beef into ships not big enough for them.many of the slaves died on the ship and never made it to their destination.Thank God for a Better today.
2.The Statue of the missionary.
This is a statue of a missionary who was actively involved in fighting slavery in Africa (i do not remember his name anymore).also located at badagry,Lagos,Nigeria.
