Snow has always fascinated me, winter being my favorite season of the year. Did you know, that every single snowflake is completely unique? Amazing isn't it? =) Our world has so many mysteries in it, and such beauty!
Fresh Snow
There is nothing quite like hearing the soft crunch of your boot/shoe on a fresh layer of snow. And with each foot step, you are in essence, creating something new every time you take a step. It's rather picturesque, and makes people long for a white Christmas to celebrate the holidays with.
Solid Water
What is a snow flake? It starts as solid water and then bonds in the cloud with dust or sometimes soot to form it's initial shape. The temperature must be between 24.8 to -4 degrees Fahrenheit in order for the particle to freeze and form.
Hexagon
It all starts with a hexagon, when the snow flake first forms. The shape emerges as the hydrogen is forced to bond with H20.
Forming a Shape
As more water particles are bonded with the hexagon crystals, the flake begins to grow into different shapes and sizes. This in turn becomes a flake of infinite possibilities, which is why no two flakes are the same.
Why are Snow Flakes White?
This is actually an optical illusion. Snow is colorless because it is water, the snow crystals act like mirrors and they reflect all of the shades of light which in turn make the flake look white to our human eyes.
Whatsss a snow flake Preciousss? We hates snow flakes.. nasty Elvsesss invention. =D

The positivity this article is great even though you are pushing the winter theme far too early in my opinion. But with each positive we should also look at the counterpart like with Masaru Emoto's work.
