This picture was taken on a hike in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
When I was younger we used to grow these plants in pots in the garden. They have a sticky dew on their leaves that stops the insect from getting away. I am not sure what this specific plants name is, but we called them sundews.

Very cool to spot one of these "guys" in nature. I love carnivorous plants. I have only seen it once up close in my life, but I have never seen it catches any insect in action. If you grow these in garden, does it mean you use them as a form of insect control?

Hi @dragonslayer101. Good find! This is a Drosera species of some kind. There are about 20 species of these found in South Africa. This could be Drosera aliciae or Drosera natalensis but you would need an expert to confirm that :)
