Nothing beats a good braai

Do not try this at home. If you have never done this before and you don't mind messing up badly then try it. Warning: plastic melts and can be very dangerous in your food.

If done right you can get a perfect juice steak. This is the best way I have found to get all that seasoning goodness into your meat. But it must be done at the right temperature or the chances are you will have a bit of extra flavor that you do not want.

The trick is, if you can hold your hand above the flames for 30 seconds, you have the right temperature. Once your stake starts to change colour you can take it out and add some extra coals to the fire to get it hotter. Depending on how well you like your steak you will cook it accordingly. By cooking it in the plastic bag it will reduce the time needed to make your steak nice and rare.

Once you got a bit more experience ypu can try it out on different temperatures. New things result in a different outcome each time so feel free to explore.

That is definitely looking on point perfect :D feeling hungry

I love to do a ""flatty"" like that, until the plastic burst!!

Haha yes they are the best done like that

You’re brave - cooking it in it’s plastic 🙈 I get the idea behind it - it’s like an oven bag.. wouldn’t you get the same effect if you wrapped it in foil?

Haven't tried it in foil. Might be a much safer bet than the plastic. Will probably work the same logically speaking it should.
