This photo is actually a combination of 39 photographs. I shot kind of a "panorama" from a real close distance to model.

This technique is called the Brenizer method. The main advantage is that you get really soft backround since the subject is close to the camera (~100cm / 40inches). Images are composed back together using basic Photoshop photomerge.

Main drawback is the difficulty to get people to stay in the exact same posture.
