I am making progress on my next big batch of photos!
Currently, I am taking my completed photos and cropping new versions of them. This allows me to make new photos from the photos I have already finished the metadata for. Now I just have to title the new photos differently when I am done. The description and keywords are finished.
There was a very large sale I missed from Alamy two weeks ago. I sold this photo for $42 (I get 40% or $16.87):
This week:
- $64.46
- 100 downloads
- 87 unique image downloads
- Top-earning photo: $6.75
- Bottom-earning photo: $0.22
Here’s my top ten for the week:

@dropthepress i am thinking of starting selling stock images, i have a rather large collection but was wondering how is the best way. is it better to sell packs of related images or just single images with no links?

Hey @jackfitton! Sorry for the late reply. I am much quicker on my blog. I would recommend checking out the blog: backyardsilver.com. If it was not for that man's blog, then I would have never gotten started.
I personally hire someone to do my titles, keywords and descriptions on my photos. I think it is crazy to do all the work yourself. At my numbers, that would be much more than a full-time job for only a few hundered dollars a month in passive income when you get to multiple thousands of images.
After checking out the backyard silver blog, feel free to ask me any questions that might not answer for you!! I love to talk about this stuff!
