Sometimes, depending on how wet or dry the summer is, the fall colors near where I live aren't always so good. We decided to plant Japanese Maples to give the yard some color during the summer and then liven things up a bit in the fall.
This particular tree is the Beni Hime Japanese Maple. During the summer months, the leaves are kind of orange red with green interspersed. Usually in the fall, it tends to wash out a bit, although still pretty.
This year however, that is not the case. It is really pretty with it's brilliant reds and orange. It's the prettiest I've seen it in a long time!
I hope you've enjoyed this touch of fall. Please don't forget to upvote and resteem. Have a nice day! :)
