144 Pictures

Unedited, uncurated, full set of self portraits, straight from my camera (via phone screenshotting) to your screens. I thought this would be something interesting for you to see, as you usually only see the final few images and think every picture I take is some sort of miraculous and perfect.

I take A LOT of pictures to get it right, then carefully select the ones to be processed and Photoshopped to my liking. 144 pictures is surely above average but nothing unheard of for me. I'd say for my basic self portrait session, I take anywhere from 50-100 pictures, today I was just really feeling the natural light pouring inside my apartment and wanted to use allll of it. I knew I had a pretty narrow window to shoot because the sun only climbs up high enough and peeks out between the building for less than an hour at this time a year, and there might be clouds too disrupting the light. I got pretty lucky and got soooo much light, and I'm really liking my new space I build for myself, makes it easier to set up a shoot and move around.

I'm most likely gonna make several sets out of these images, because I think these is quite a lot of potential. I'll try to have the first ones up by tonight.
