Your Daily Skyporn Fix

Hey fellow skyporn addicts, I have some major sunrise porn here!

These were taken about a week ago, at 3am in the morning. I usually shoot sunsets because I'm awake then, but as I was staying up late finishing a post, the sun was already coming up. I was on my way to bed as I glanced to the other side of the house, and saw these insane vibrant pink, purple and magenta hues. I had no choice but to grab my camera and run outside, because I'm an addict and I have no control over myself when I see a sky this vibrant.

It's 3am, I'm on my pj's, and it's only 6 degrees Celsius, even though the temperatures in the daytime have been well over 20 degrees. If you look at the last picture closely, you can see a bright orange between the trees, and I was very tempted to go closer. But it was the middle of the night, I wasn't wearing much and no one knew that I had gone out, so I didn't want to risk getting eaten by a bear. It is no joke, a couple roam very close to our house, though the bigger threat is a huge dog that lives few kilometres away and has bitten many people. I usually carry a knife when I go to the woods, but this time I ran out so fast that I only had my camera with me.

I almost took the car and wanted to drive to a lakeside, but was already pretty tired so only took some pictures at the edge of the forest. Maybe next time I'll be more prepared and get to a really nice spot before the sun rises.
