Frosts are coming!

According to the forecast, small frosts are approaching the Vologda region - this is a pleasant news for me! But it will not last long and then it will get warmer again. Apparently, this year, my task is to try to find beauty in the gray, because the beautiful weather is not given and the sun is not shown.

In this post I will show how Velikiy Ustyug can look in severe frosts.

Our city, as you already know, consists mainly of a private sector or two-storey wooden houses from which a large proportion has stove heating. Accordingly, in the frosts there will be a haze.

Because of this smoke, or rather because of the carbon monoxide in the lowlands, it's very difficult to breathe.

In the evening everything is covered with fog.

From the CHPP pipe thick steam is poured and this can be heard from afar.

I love it when the snow does not just crunch under your feet, but screams!

And to breathe a full breast, you need to cover your nose with a mitten, so as not to burn your airways.

At dawn or closer to the sunset, near the river, the trees are always covered with hoarfrost.

The number of cars is sharply reduced. Often you can see how one pulls the other on the tow.

Frosts are part of our northern life. After a walk, it's nice to go into a warm cozy house and have a cup of hot tea.
