Many photographers and not only heard about the "golden hour" - this is when the sunlight has a yellow-orange hue at dawn or at sunset. And still there is a "blue hour" - this time from sunset to full dark.
In the "blue hour" the most interesting is to catch the moment when the street lighting and other lights are turned on.
This I was engaged in one summer evening.
To begin with, I decided on the plot and chose the location. It is a view of the embankment of Veliky Ustyug from the banks of the Sukhona River.
Then I began to select a more detail place for shooting, to install the camera on a tripod and wait for the lights to turn on. In the foreground I wanted to capture stones with shallows and reflections of temples.
Then I selected the focal length and the composition of the frame.
At the same time he took the church on the other side, for the archive.
I continue to select the right angle.
Lanterns lit up! We must act faster! But already about started to imagine that I want to see on the finished shot.
Here I was already close, but I wanted to try a couple of camera angles.
But other species did not fit me and I went back to the place where it was more or less successful.
And here is the ready shot, which most approached for my idea.
If you look closely, you can see the amount of dust on the Canon 5d matrix. For this reason, I wanted to get rid of it as quickly as possible, since it takes too much time to process just one dust!
But do not pay attention to dust! My task was to show how I go to the frame I needed.
good photo even though taken with ordinary camera but still good because more on its original. my suggestion try you try with a slightly sophisticated camera let her results more satisfying again

There are swabs for your sensor. We have a pen like thing for touch ups, but really we need to take our cameras in and have a professional wipe the sensor clean. Its expensive because if they leave a streak, they replace the sensor.
Want to take your photos to a new level? During the day time, go meet the keeper of the facility, introduce yourself, and in exchange for his help, give them free photos. Then ask them to turn on all the interior lights for that night. Its only for a few minutes and they mostly say yes.
