Do not forget the classics - African Violet

I dunno how about you, but this would be the typical African Violet colour (and shape) for me. We always had those navy blues one on a kitchen window. I remember few pots since I was a kid. And this was the only colour that I was seeing around for many many years.	Nie wiem jak u Was, ale dla mnie to jest typowy (kolor is kształt) Fiołek Afrykański. Odkąd pamiętam zawsze mieliśmy te granatowe w kuchni na parapecie. Pamiętam je jeszcze z dzieciństwa. I to był jedyny kolor jaki wtedy znałam i przez wiele, wiele lat nie było nic innego.
This was also my very first Afican Violet and probably the first plant in the new place that I got. And years later I still have it. Though I think it is a kid of that first plant. Some years later I got other colours that I will quickly show at the end of the post. For now lets just enjoy this little classic.	To był również mój pierwszy osobisty Fiołek i prawdopodobnie pierwszy kwiat w nowym miejscu. Minęły lata a ja ciągle go mam. Chociaż zdaje mi się, że to już potomek tej pierwszej rośliny. Później dokupiłam jeszcze inne kolory, które szybko pokażę na końcu posta. Tymczasem nacieszmy oczy tym cudnym klasykiem.

Funny that I have it for so long, but those must be the very first photos that I tool of the blooms. I just so got used to it and always wanted to photograph the new ones, the unusual and the first time bloomers. But it is so freaking gorgeous! The very dark, deep navy blue is stunning. And of course it has all the glitter and sparkles the other Violets have.	Zabawne, że mam go tak długo, a to są pewnie pierwsze jego zdjęcia. Przywykłam do niego i zawsze jak któryś z nowych zakwitł, to on właśnie miał sesję. Bo nowy, bo inny, bo kwitnie pierwszy raz. Niemniej te ciemne, granatowe kwiatki są przeboskie. Oczywiście jak przy każdym innym fiołku też błyszczą jakby obsypane były brokatem.

On top of that the contrast between the petals and the yellow center… just look.	Ponadto kontrast pomiędzy płatkami, a żółtym środkiem… no zobaczcie sami.

Lastly some of my other violets. Right now I also have two pinks and a white one in bloom, so the navy is not alone.	Na koniec kilka innych fiołków. Obecnie kwitną również dwa różowe i biały, więc granacik nie czuje się samotnie.

I used to think they were only pink. :)
