Since it was not so easy to travel abroad to another country, I enjoyed the summer holidays here in Austria. Austria has a lot of beautiful places and I really enjoy it here, but I have to admit that I have already seen a lot of beautiful places here, and I want to explore some other countries also. Especially the ones where I can find birds or interesting animals that cannot be found here in Austria. My credo is to make the best out of the situation we have now, and so I am looking for some nice places here, may it be for some wildlife photography or landscape photography. The Austrian Mountains are good for landscape photography, and in summer it is also a nice place for some wildlife photography of marmots or birds that avoid the warm weather down in the valleys.

But not only landscape photography is interesting up there on the mountain, also bird and wildlife photography is a little easier because of the cooler temperatures. Because it is usually a bit cooler on 2000 or 2500 meters, a lot of animals that only show up during the early morning or late evening in the valley, can be seen even during the day. So the mountains are another nice place to find some birds in addition to lakes and river shores.
