One of the Best years of my life so far #Part 4 April 2017

April has already been a very nice and warm month this year. On the first of April i visited the Zoo in Vienna togehter with Stefan and i did some nice photography of the Animal in the Zoo.

Zoo Vienna

Because of the nice weather i decided to do some nice Photography at the Zoo in Vieanna, as you might know from the previous posts the Katas are one of my favorite animals there in the zoo and i like taking pictures of them dancing around in their cage.

Wildlife Photography

In April we startet our first wildlife photography tours in Austria, this is now my favorite field of photography and the most interresting for me. As this is not so easy and you have to do a lot of research and know how to handle your camera very well to get decent shots. Ground Squirrels are my favorite animals since this summer because they are very photogenic and so cute.

Floridsdorfer Waterpark

We did also a lot of wildlife photography in Vieanna, the "Floridsdorfer Waterpark" is now one of my favorite places to visit for pictures of birds. You can find a lot of swans, ducks and gray herons living there from spring to autumn. The good thing there is that the animals are not so shy from humans and you can get really close very often without them fleeing from you. As it is a park in Vienna of course a lot of people are visiting it every day and the animals loose their shyness from the people very fast. It's much easier to gelt close to an animal as in a forest.

Antrachinger Au

On 29th of April, Robert, Stefan and i visited the Antrachinger Au for some wildlife photography of wild boars and squirrels. We walked quiete a bit into the forrest and also met the hunter who takes care about the place and the animals there. As the wild boars already had children it was not so easy to approach them for a nice picture, because they can get aggressive and really dangerous if you are approaching them to close. So we waited on an open place and let them approach us.

Traunfall

On 30th of April we visited the Traunfall, wich is a waterfall near Vöcklabruch in Upper Austria for some waterfall pictures. I think the Traunfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Austria. Of course i like the Krimmler Waterfalls better but still Traunfall is among the most beautiful ones. It is not very high but very long.
