Letchworth Village

Growing up in Rockland County what went on Letchworth Village was rarely brought up in conversation. It was there and that was that. It was in use through most of my life but many of the building by that time had closed or had been repurposed. Since it was so close to my high school it would be part of cross country practice. I’m pretty sure I still haven’t gotten around to watching Geraldo’s special from the 70s about it. Like I said it was there and that was that it isn’t to be discussed. Little over 10 years ago my friend from college and I were trying to make a sequel to the movie we did in 2001 and for inspiration I suggested we check out Letchworth since our killer could have been a patient in a place like this. We snuck into one of the abandoned buildings. At that time I was more of skeptic and figured any hauntings were caused by the natural phenomenon of infrasound. I wasn’t a believer afterwards I just didn’t like the feeling of being in there. Today I went back.
