Dear photo-enthusiasts,
I have been into taking pictures as for long as I can remember. Surely you run into the same problems as I did: Not enough storage on your NAS and no way to view the pictures when being away. Also I would love for others to see and comment on pictures I have taken (all non professional).
So I had a quick look around the net and decided my best way forward would be setting up my own webserver, but being kinda lazy I just got a service from some hosting company and tried out coppermine. Now that did work, but customizing the template turned out to be a kind of a hassle. So I (being lazy again) just installed wordpress and got myself a web-dorado photo gallery lisence, installed it and uploaded some pictures.
It's been a few months in which I have kept filling the site with pictures from my networkdrive. Now it's getting to point where I am starting to doubt if I have taken the wrong approach.
So I thought, lets just ask my steemit friends, maybe they have some advice or tips on my site: http://pictures-pages.com
I use the Amazon Prime service. It has unlimited photo storage (and some video and other documents).
You can view them from any browser and, if you have a Fire TV you can see them on the TV.
You can move and download them again if you want.
Of course this is my backup photo storage but useful anyway.

Thanks for the tip ! I have not heard of Amazon Prime Service before. It might be a usa service only ? I am from the Netherlands. Europe.

I am in UK. A side benefit is you get free next day delivery on what you buy from Amazon (marked Prime) and you can watch their Prime Videos at no cost. I also lived in Egypt and Singapore and it worked fine there.
