I was walking through my library, trying to find a Harry Potter book, and thought I'd found one until I discovered this was actually a container for a Geocache item.
Geocaching is a game where you use a GPS to track down items you've been told are are certain coordinates.
Someone cut the first 20 pages out so they can place the Geocache item in there.
Anyway, I can't decide if I'm impressed or infuriated by this.
On the one hand, they got the library's permission to put the book there, and it's a great way to hide the Geocache item.
On the other hand, I hate seeing a Harry Potter book getting disfigured.
Thoughts?
I like it, why not?
Probably is a good re-use of a damaged book: why don't you ask slender? ;)
A big hug from @amico.

I prefer using a fake book or an older book. It may be for a Harry Potter themed puzzle though. And there are a lot of used Harry Potter books at used book stores, so I suspect it wasn't something they were even worried about.
