Greetings friends of the photo 52 contest, it was created by @wwwiebe and this week the theme is green.
Do you like green? I have a lot of green.
My cacti and succulents have many variations of green. Some are exposed to the sun and their shades of green vary. There are intense greens, apple greens, soft greens, etc ...
This small succulent, named kalanchoe Rotundifolia, is a kind of small size with round, thick leaves with smooth edges and light green colors. It's exposed to the sun. Its leaves grow grouped, around a very branched and thin stem of pale green color, or pink if it is very tender.
Another succulent. They have a common name of "baby fingers". They have a thin stem, very fragile and sensitive. From where the thick, elongated and green leaves start, with villi on all its surface. They are not prickly.
Again, another succulent, with very agglomerated green leaves. Leaves lanceolate in shape, and its tone is a stronger green.
It's the Juvenile Aloe. Its leaves are fleshy and lanceolate, with small, prickly, fragile extensions on their edges. They resemble the fangs of a carnivorous animal. They have no stem. They are dark green in color and can be shades of brown based on sun exposure.
The Haworthia, another dark green succulent. Its leaves are fleshy and rigid, with a raised texture throughout its surface. They grow one in front of the other, without stem. It receives the common name of crocodile skin plant. From the center of the plant you can see a flower stem. There is still a long way to go to grow this stem. At the end of about 30 cm, it will expose a cluster of small pale pink inflorescences.
It's a small "crocodile skin baby" that I transplanted successfully. It is not difficult to multiply this succulent, rustic looking.
It's a cactus, the Gracilis mammillaria. It has a stem that is its column, from where the small suckers are born. They are placed one by one around the mother plant. The star-shaped spines are radial and white in color. The cactus is in bloom and reveals its yellow hue.
Huernia boleana is its name. It's another succulent, whose spines do not grow rigid and are fragile, on a thick but flexible stem. They have a variety of green depending on their exposure to the sun.
It's a green in a cactus named Monstrous or Cereus Peruvianus. Its extensions are born in a tortuous and sinuous way, hence its name. They present many sharp spines throughout its surface.
We finish with a red Opuntia cactus. Commonly called Mickey ears. It has many red villi, scattered in groups over the entire surface of the cactus, green in color. With a flattened shape, it is shaped like an ear and when the buds come out at the upper end of the body, they are arranged on two sides and appear to be the ears.
These are my greens. I hope you like cacti and succulents.
I appreciate your comments and votes.
God always blesses us.

No tienen tallo.

I love succulents! I have not had much luck in keeping them alive and growing (in fact, the only plant I have that I have been able to keep thriving indoors is a clover) but I really think they're pretty plants. Loved looking at your collection! It's a great feeling to be surrounded by growing, living things.
Thanks for entering!

Thanks Indeed, it is very pleasant to sow, transplant, harvest. Having the power to give life and multiply it. It is all a matter of passion. Thank you for the opportunity you give me with your contest to publish these species.
