Unequal dragonflies (rocker, green head, flat dragonfly), when sitting, spread their wings flat. Most of the time these dragonflies spend in the air, chasing after prey. The captured insect either devours them on the fly, or the dragonfly returns with prey to its favorite place to have lunch there. Dragonflies go through an incomplete development cycle. The last larva turns into an adult dragonfly, not pupating. The larvae live in water. They are predators.
