Recently, I took the decision to step outside of my culinary comfort zone and begin cooking and baking unfamiliar foods. I started eating keto last year while I was in quarantine, and I've kept up my keto diet throughout 2019. Finding a replacement for bread is one of the most difficult aspects of the keto diet. It's true what many people who suggest you should avoid carbs like that say. However, a lettuce wrap does not provide much satisfaction.
I then began my investigation and discovered a recipe for Keto naan bread. They use mozzarella cheese in their recipe, but I substituted cheddar cheese instead. The following are the ingredients:
two huge eggs
almond flour, 1 1/2 cups (low carb comp to regular flour)
Cheddar cheese, 3–4 cups (shredded)
1 tablespoon of baking powder without gluten
Greek yoghurt made with whole milk, 2 1/2 tablespoons
As indicated below, you would start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Next, combine yoghurt and cheddar cheese in a bowl suited for the microwave. After thoroughly mixing everything, heat it for two to five minutes. Every 30 seconds, whisk the mixture to ensure that the two components are combining and prevent the cheese from sticking to the bowl's sides.
You should combine your baking powder, almond flour, and eggs in an other bowl. Your best option is to use a whisk. If you don't have a whisk, you can use use a fork or your hands.
You should be sure to pour the warm cheese and yoghurt combination into the flour, baking powder, and eggs mixture. To prevent the cheese from setting before the two mixtures are completely combined, you should pour the hot mixture in and start combining the two as soon as you can.
Once you've created your "dough," place it in the refrigerator to cool for 15 to 20 minutes. It could take longer. It might even take a bit less time. When rolling out the dough, your major goal is to determine whether or not it will stick to your fingers.
It's time to begin rolling the dough into form if the dough's consistency and temperature are satisfactory. As you can see in the image below, this mixture will yield about 6–7 naan loaves.
Place your naan bread on parchment paper and place it in the preheated oven. If necessary, spray the paper with non-stick cooking spray to prevent the bread from sticking. The cheesy naan bread will then be heated for about 11 to 13 minutes.
The bread should be heated, removed, and then brushed with a butter, parsley, and garlic powder mixture. I advise using about two ounces of butter, along with one tablespoon each of garlic and parsley.
Put the dish back in the oven for two more minutes after brushing on the garlic butter. Golden coloration should appear on naan bread. Take out after two minutes, then allow it sit for around five to ten minutes. then offer!
really tasty
